Taekwondo is believed to be one of the oldest Oriental arts of unarmed self-defense. In ancient times, the Korean people were forced to fight to protect or regain their independence from the Chinese, the Scytho-Siberians of Central Asia, the Mongol Hordes, the Marauders, and the armies of Japan. As a result, characteristics that serve as the source of Taekwondo were created in the Korean people. Bring your fitness and health challenge and join our community of do-ers as we conquer those challenges by learning the principles of being fight-set. This program will have you moving, looking and feeling amazing in about an hour, three times per week.
The program is a combination of Taekwondo kicks and Boxing techniques. With the use of kicking paddles, punching focus mitts and heavy bags you are able to get a GREAT cardio workout. In addition to the cardio workout each class will finish with exercises that are designed to target areas like abs, butt, and inner and outer thighs.
